Dr. Madeleine Khan
Chiropractor
Dr. Madeleine Khan first realized her dream of becoming a chiropractor at 8 years old after being involved in a sledding accident and injuring her neck. A local chiropractor in Dr. Khan’s upstate New York hometown was able to help Dr. Khan. He educated her family on the body’s innate intelligence to heal itself. As a result, her entire family has experienced the benefits of regular preventative chiropractic care.
Dr. Khan graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences. She then went on to earn her doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating magna cum laude. In addition to the rigorous doctorate curriculum at Palmer, Dr. Khan earned a prestigious internship with the Troxell Internship Program, the most intensive Gonstead chiropractic program available to students. As part of this internship, she spent hundreds of hours learning and teaching her peers how to be specific and effective chiropractors.
Dr. Khan also had the amazing opportunity to participate in a clinic abroad program in Hyderabad, India. The program allowed her to care for the children in underserved community schools as well as the patients, medical doctors and employees of a local hospital. Over the course of two weeks, Dr. Khan and her group were able to provide care to thousands of men, women and children in need.
Dr. Khan is passionate about her work because she knows every individual has the potential to be truly healthy. Chiropractic adjustments allow for the proper brain and body communication that allows the body’s self-healing mechanisms to work optimally. Dr. Khan loves that she gets to see healing in her work every day.
When she’s not at the office, Dr. Khan enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is an exercise enthusiast, and has hiked various trails in the Hudson Valley. She also has a deep love and appreciation of artwork. In high school, she participated in a portfolio development program at the Art Institute at the Mill Street Loft, and enjoys painting and drawing in her free time.
Dr. Khan couldn’t be more excited to serve the patients of Rowe Chiropractic Offices!
